The SteadySpine is an innovative solution that ensures seamless installation of GearMate with both Classic and ProFlex Bike Racks.
The SteadySpine is a glass-filled nylon spine featuring 28 adjustable bracket positions, providing over 200 GearMate storage configurations. Installed behind your Classic or ProFlex bike rack, it connects with the brackets, allowing you to easily customize the placement of your GearMate storage bins, hooks, and loops.
Please Note
If you’re installing GearMate with a Classic Bike Rack, you’ll need to purchase a SteadySpine separately. ProFlex Bike Racks already come with a SteadySpine included.

GearMate is our new storage organizer system that seamlessly integrates with all Steadyrack bike racks. Whether you’re storing your helmet, gloves, shoes, gels and other cycling accessories, the GearMate allows you to store everything in one place. In addition, the adaptable and customizable system allows you to arrange the GearMate your way with over 200 possible arrangements, it is as unique as your ride.
Yes, the GearMate is designed to work seamlessly with all Classic racks (Road, MTB, Fat, and discontinued Fender and eBike). You will just need to buy a SteadySpine which allows for the GearMate products to attach and install.
Yes! One of the most unique features of the GearMate is its versality. With over 200 possible setups, you can arrange the GearMate to your needs. For example. If you install most of the components on the left side, you’ll maximize the pivoting space on the right side of the rack and vice versa.
