    How It Works With Steadyrack

The patented Steadyrack bike rack design allows you to attach our D-Lock and Cable to the stainless-steel arms. Unlike with a hook, where the lock would simply slide off, a Steadyrack paired with a sturdy lock will keep your bike safe and secure.

Our Steadyrack D-Lock and 1.8m included Cable means you can lock up your entire bike securely. Simply thread the cable through your bike - frame, wheels or the arms of your Steadyrack and the D-Lock through the loops on the ends of the cable. You can also choose to use the D Lock on its own through your frame or wheels and the Steadyrack. Clip the D-Lock together and turn the key to secure. You can tell that it's locked when you can take the key out. To unlock, simply insert your key and turn to unlock the D-Lock. Too easy!

Our locks and cables are designed to deter opportunistic theft. If they are used in unattended highly visible private or public spaces they will not be effective at preventing theft by a professional with sophisticated tools or equipment. Where possible the included D Lock should also be looped through the bike’s wheel and the rack to further deter thieves. We strongly advise that you do not leave your bikes in a public, vulnerable locations even when locked.
