Steadyrack continues partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities
We at Steadyrack are delighted to continue our ongoing support of Ronald McDonald House Charities in 2020. Once again, we are sponsoring their annual 'Ride for Sick Kids' event. The selected location for the ride this year is the scenic Margaret River region of Western Australia. Our very own CEO and founder, David Steadman, participated in the ride. The RMHC Ride for Sick Kids originated in Sydney where three "Fortunate Fathers" decided to do something amazing for sick children in their state. Having such humble beginnings in 2005, the Ride has since spread its roots in a further 3 states. Now the Rides are organised by dedicated committees of RMHC representatives as well as McDonald's Licensees and corporate staff. It wasn't until 2012 that the first RMHC Ride for Sick Kids came to WA. Since it's arrival, it has been going from strength to strength. The 2020 Ride for Sick Kids took off from Margaret River and ran over a staggering 4 days, covering 400km! The riders took to an idyllic tour of the South West wine region, riding all the way back up to the Ronald McDonald House in Perth.
